First, I parked my Civic in the garden and engaged the parking brake. Then I lifted the hood and removed the plastic cover on the top front side of the engine. It was connected by clips.
Step 2: Disconnect the Battery
I wore gloves and safety goggles. Then I disconnected the negative battery terminal by using a 10mm wrench.

Next, I located the tensioner pulley which was just below the idler pulley. I inserted a 14 mm wrench into the tensioner pulley slot and loosed the nut. Then I pulled it towards my side to relieve the tension. Next, I slid the serpentine belt off the pulleys.

Then I located the front cover which surrounds the radiator and the engine area. I removed the 10mm screws that secure it. I carefully removed the cover, removed the four screws securing the AC compressor, and pulled out the old AC compressor from the engine compartment.

Then I removed the top bolt of the new AC compressor and tilted it to drain any excess PAG oil. I took the draining oil to a measuring cup.
Step 6: Replace O-Rings
Next, I disconnect the AC lines from the oil compressor. They were secured by 10mm bolts. I replaced the O rings on both the high-pressure and low-pressure lines with new ones.
Note: Lubricate the new O-rings with fresh PAG oil before installing them.
Step 7: Install the New AC Compressor
Then I put the new AC compressor into place. Then I tightened the four compressor bolts to secure the AC compressor.
Step 8: Reconnect AC Lines
I reconnected the AC lines to the AC compressor.
Step 9: Reinstall the Front Cover
I placed the front cover back over the radiator and the engine area. I secured it with the mounting bolts, which I removed earlier.
Step 10: Install the Serpentine Belt
I placed the serpentine belt back on the pulleys and tightened the tensioner pulley.

I reconnected the negative battery terminal and tightened it with a nut.
